About us

The clue is in the name...we're Queens who blog.
We are two sisters, Karen and Nana, who decided to combine our blogs together.
We intend to blog together, share ideas, stories and still aim to empower others. Our aim is to inspire, uplift and empower young Queens.

About Karen (the older sister)
I'm Karen. One day I woke and realised I had a story to share.I hope to share messages on my experience, my faith and relationship with God.My dream is for these stories and the messages behind them to uplift others who may be going through the same thing. I desire to help others find fulfilment in the things they do and discover happiness. I hope to over come depression and anxiety with those going through the same thing. The struggle is real as people say, but I found strength in Christ and hope you can too.Ps- my biggest inspiration is Joel Osteen, he has thought me so many ways to perceive the events in my life- hence I want to use a similar approach to reach others.

About  Nana (The Ghanaian Queen/TGQ)
Hi there, my name is Nana and I'm a 17 year old girl from London.
This blog was created because I felt that there weren't many blogs out there that reached out to people like me. Well there might be but I've just never heard of them.

Why I created this blog?
I created this blog during October 2014, with aims to inspire as well as advise young people. I believe that I can potentially inspire an entire generation.

What do I even blog about?
Generally I blog about a variety of things, from inspirational messages to topics that I feel need to be discussed.
Many of the blog posts that I write are often linked to real life experiences that I have had, and I thought would be nice to share with the world. I try (emphasis on the try) to not sound too personal or too patronising as much as possible when I'm sharing advice.

How often do I blog?
I try to blog as often as I can, but due to my busy schedule I struggle to maintain specific deadlines for my blog posts. However, this shouldn't really be an issue because after all it is my blog and I can most certainly post what and when I want to.

Why am I called the Ghanaian Queen?
When I first decided to create a blog, I struggled to come up with a name and many of the names that I wanted to use were taken. So then I thought to myself "you need a blog name that's unique and relates to you." That's when I had my eureka moment and thought that the name ''The Ghanaian Queen" would be most suitable for my blog. This is because I am a proud Ghanaian and I'm not afraid to show it. I consider myself as Queen and this is something that I have believed from a young age, also my name can be translated to mean ''Queen'' so there you go.

Expect to see bigger and better things from me in the near future.
P.S- You can find out more about me in the first blog post that I wrote, titled Introduction.
